Thomas D. Huddleston, 79, of Colona passed away August 17, 2019 surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be 1pm Wednesday at Schroder Mortuary with visitation 1 hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family. Thomas was born June 28, 1940 in Louisa County, Iowa the son of Robert and Beatrice Sabin Huddleston. He married Pamelia Younts September 18, 1974 in Milan, Illinois. Tom retired from John Deere Harvester Works in East Moline in 1996. After his retirement he worked as a crossing guard for Colona Grade School for several years. Tom enjoyed camping, fishing, building, and baking. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife Pamelia; children Stacey (Kelli) Huddleston, Jason Huddleston, and Tonya Huddleston; grandchildren Brant Huddleston, Mason Huddleston, Kobe Huddleston, and Juli Logan; sister Janet (Emitt) Whitehair and his best fishing pal Dave Gottwalt. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; brother Eugene and sister Virginia.
