Steven “Eric”‘s Obituary Steven “Eric” Lewis, 49 of Fairmont City, IL, formerly of Granite City, IL passed away Sunday August 25, 2019 in St. Louis, MO. He was born May 20, 1970 in Missouri to Vestal E. and Linda Mae (Pilkington) Lewis. Eric and Marsh Guetterman married in Granite City, Il on October 26, 1996. He had been self employed as a drywaller. Eric liked to spend his time at home with his grandkids and playing his favorite video games. He was a very kind and generous person; and would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He was always there to talk to, even if he didn’t know you. He loved his family and friends. He is survived by his wife: Marsha (nee: Guetterman) Lewis of Fairmont City, IL; daughter: Brooke Lynn Lewis of Fairmont City, IL; three grandchildren: Eden I, Seamus E and Cody J. R. Hughes; three brothers: Scott, Jimmy and Mark Lewis and a sister: Shelia (Robert) Hosier. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother: Chris Cole. A memorial visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of the memorial service 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City, IL.
