Socorro Ondina Alfonso was born on Sunday, June 27th, 1937 in Havana, Cuba to proud parents Candido and Eloisa. She met Henry, the love of her life in their hometown of Havana and were happily married for 57 years. This union was a symbol of commitment to true love, strong family values and an unbreakable bond. Together they traveled the world because Ondina cherished life and seeked adventure to broaden her understanding of its vastness. She was an avid collector of Barbie’s and porcelain angels as they were a well representation of her kept persona and compassionate heart. In addition, Ondina was a loyal employee for the County of Los Angeles over 25 years. There she established memorable relationships and a networking with her sociable traits. Furthermore, Ondina loved cooking, reading magazines, gardening, spending time with her loved ones and always exuded happiness. She was a beacon of wisdom and great counsel to many. She is survived by her husband Henry, her son Jorge, her grandkids Monique, Carina and Henry and great grandkids, David and Carla. The love she gave to a multitude will forever live in our hearts.
