Shirley’s Obituary Shirley R. Bonefant, age 86, of Camp Hill, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born May 3, 1933 in Jim Thorpe, PA, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Arlene (Izzo) White. Shirley worked in banking and retired as a department manager after more than 30 years with PNC Bank. She used to enjoy getting together with her card club friends for games of Pinochle, loved to work outside in the garden, and enjoyed traveling. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and was a devoted and ever-present mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother. Surviving is her loving husband of 65 years, John J. Bonefant; her daughter, Jacqueline Wolf and fiancĂ© Rick; her six grandchildren, Michelle and husband Chris, Jason and companion Kellie, Michael, Chelsea and husband Adam, Anthony, and Ashley; six great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren; as well as her sister, Gayle Powell. Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathleen Jones. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, August 7 at Malpezzi Funeral Home, 8 Market Plaza Way, Mechanicsburg, where there will be a viewing from 11:00 AM to noon. Burial will take place in Rolling Green Cemetery.
