Shirley Jean Todd age 80, of Shoals, passed away July 11, 2019 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born October 9, 1938 in Martin County, Indiana to Orville and Ilean (Potts) Tharp. She married Raymond Todd and he preceded her in death October 21, 1989. Shirley graduated Shoals High School, was a homemaker and a member of the Shoals Nazarene Church. Surviving are, one daughter Stacey Crowder of Jasper; one son, Jeffrey Roberts of Bloomington; two grandchildren, Annie Blunk of Jasper and Jeffrey Crowder of Jasper; one great-granddaughter, Hailee Blunk; one sister, Sharon Blake of Shoals and one brother, Gary Tharp of Shoals. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, Juanita Tharp; one brother, Marvin Tharp and brother in-law, John Blake. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday at the Queen-Lee Chapel in Shoals with Bro. Kevin Quinn officiating. Burial will be in the Poplar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until the service hour at the funeral home. The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes is in charge of the arrangements.
