Shirley’s Obituary Shirley Gail Jordan, age 67, of Portage, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019. She was born on October 12, 1951 in Attalla, Alabama to the late Orville C. and Martha L. (Nee Greene) Jones. She was a member of Faith Mission Church and enjoyed spending time with family. She is survived by her two sons, Daniel (Cindy) Wirick and Scott Wirick; two daughters, Wendy Gaboian and Juanita Parnell and brother, James (Cindy) D. Jones; six grandchildren, Andrew, Roger, Serenity, Zac, Nathan and Dawnn; great grandchild, Paisley; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Jerry, Billy, Jimmy and Vernon Jones; two sisters, Lillian Waid and Virginia Alexander. A funeral service for Shirley will take place at 10:00 a.m. on August 30, 2019 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Portage with Reverends Chuck and Minnie Munsell officiating. She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. August 29, 2019 at Rees Funeral home, Olson Chapel.
