Mrs. Sharon C. Jones, age 55, of Lawrenceville, GA died Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Jones was born in Commerce to Billy Rucker of Commerce and the late, Geneva Reed Rucker. Mrs. Jones was an administrative secretary for the Atlanta Public School System. In addition to her father, Mrs. Jones is also survived by her sons, Tay Jones of North Hollywood, CA and Quay Jones of Hampton, VA; sister, Tina Roach (Wayne) of Commerce; nephews, Tarious and Jeremy Varnum; great nephew, Keizer; special cousin, Gail Rucker; and a number of cousins and family members. Memorial service will be held Sunday, September 1st at 2:00 PM from Jones Chapel Baptist Church with Minister Kay Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 1-2 PM. Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
