SHANTURIA THORNTON February 15, 1983 – July 27, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Funeral services for Shanturia Thornton, 36, of Harvey, LA, formerly of Natchez, MS will be held Satursday, August 10, 2019 at 12 noon from the Great Mount Calvary Church in Marrero, LA. Visitation will be held Saturday morning from 10am to service time at the church. A local visitation will be held Sunday morning from 9am to 11am at Concordia Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery in Natchez, MS. Mrs. Thornton, daughter of Larry Good and the late Debra Smith, was born in Natchez and died at the Ochsner Foundation Hospital in Jefferson, LA. She is survived by her husband, Oliver Thornton, III of Harvey; her father, Larry Good of Natchez, MS; her children, Calab Thornton, Caliv Thornton, Christian Thornton, Olivia Thornton, and Nivia Thornton all of New Orleans; one brother, Jermaine Good of Tulsa, OK; two sisters, Monique Day and Tatyana Marsaw both of New Orleans. Also a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and loved ones. Mrs. Thornton is preceded in death by her mother and a nephew, Jeremiah Washington.
