Ruth Imogene Griffin, 71, of Anderson, passed away August 6, 2019 at her home. She was born on June 2, 1948 in Anderson, Indiana. She retired from Canteen Restaura. She loved to play challenging games and Bingo. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Savannah (Lonnie Wright) Griffin; daughter-in-law, Karel Griffin; grandchildren, Brittany Amaya and Bethaney Greenlee; 7 great- grandchildren; siblings, Floyd Stohler, Jr., Lorena Short, Edward Stohler, Rosemary (Cooper) Britten, Dorothy Schussler; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dean Griffin; son, Lonnie E. Griffin; father, Floyd Stohler; mother, Gertie Stohler; siblings, Charles Stohler, Evelyn Cooper, Tom Stohler. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 10, 2019, 12:30pm – 2:30pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St. Anderson, IN. Services will be Saturday, August 10, 2019, 2:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Pleasant Walk Cemetery, Anderson. www.loosecares.com.
