Obituary Roslyn Elizabeth Collins, 71, wife of Ellis Collins, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 12, 2019. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky on June 23, 1948, the daughter of the late Ann Lawson Taylor and Calvin Archie. Roslyn held an associate degree and was a former accountant for the State of Kentucky. She was an active member of St. Paul AME Church in Versailles, Kentucky. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Nathaniel Taylor, Sr. Roslyn leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband of 40 years, Ellis Collins, Versailles, children, Travis (Rachel) Collins, Versailles, Yvette Collins, Frankfort, Claudette Collins, Louisville, sisters, Donna (Jonathan) Walker, Hurricane, WV, Eunice (Anthony) Beatty, Lexington, grandchildren, Elizabeth Wilson, Jacob Hobbs, Dion Hobbs, and arriving soon Ellarose Layne Collins. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at St. Paul AME Church in Versailles, Kentucky.
