Roger Bessette, 40, of New Bedford, passed away suddenly on August 13, 2019. He was an avid Patriots fan, had a passion for repairing cars, and genuinely enjoyed spending time with his daughter. He was known for his big heart and willingness to give to others. Roger is survived by his beloved, Amanda Briggs of New Bedford, his daughter, Avali, and his parents, Roger and Betsy Bessette of Berkley. He is also survived by his two sisters, Wendy Pizzolo of Freeport, NY, Patricia Cokely and her husband Mark of Raynham, one brother, Richard Bessette of Taunton, and three nephews, Chandler Pizzolo, Dylan Cokely and Justin Cokely, and several cousins. Calling Hours for Roger will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2019, from 2-4pm, in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton. His Funeral Service will also be held in the funeral home on Monday August 19, 2019 at 10am, with burial following at Mayflower Hill Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
