Robert S. Moore, age 95, born 3/17/24, died at his home on Tuesday, July 30, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife Julia (Eassey) and their son Duncan James; and his brother-in-law, James Eassey (MaryEllen). Robert is survived by his two sons, Robert Patrick (Diane) and Terry Lee (Diana Lemon); 2 grandchildren, Brian Patrick (Katherine Watts) and Kate Moore Morel (Joseph) and 4 great-grandchildren. Robert was born in Cleveland, married Julia in 1944 and served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He graduated from Baldwin Wallace College and taught English in the Cleveland Public Schools before founding Moores’ Travel Trailers in 1961. He was a founding member of the Great Lakes Recreational Vehicle Association (GLRVA) and also served for a time as its President. He and Julia enjoyed growing orchids and belonged to the West Shore Orchid Society. Friends may call at BAKER-OSINSKI-KENSINGER FUNERAL HOME, 206 FRONT STREET, BEREA, OHIO, from 4-6 pm on Saturday, August 3. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org. or Hospice of the Western Reserve, www.hospicewr.org. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
