Robert’s Obituary Robert Cochran, 78, of Granite City passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019 at his home. He was born May 9, 1941 in Mt. View, MO to Vern and Edith (nee: Greathouse) Cochran. He married Mable M. Armour December 19, 1960 in Madison, IL; she preceded him death November 12, 2008. Robert retired from Chrysler in 2002 after 26 years of service. He is survived by: daughter, Tina Marie Marshall of O’Fallon, sons, Robert “Bob” Lee (Susie) Cochran of Pontoon Beach, Rodney Scott (Laura) Cochran of Granite City and Daniel (Cindy) Cochran of Granite City; grandchildren, Angela, Heather, Greg, Zac, John, Jacob, Kristen, Zak, Josh, Myranda Kaylin, Darian, Ian, Darbie, Julie, Mandy, Chris and Levi and great-grandchildren, Victor, Naya, Victoria, Ava, Isaac, Lauren, Jacob, Coralynn, Jack, Charlie, Lillian, and Aleeyah. Besides his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Cochran and sister, Verna Ross. Visitation will from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City, where services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Mt. View, MO. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society. Read More
