Robert C. Clemons, 65, died in Oklahoma City, OK, on Saturday, August 17, 2019. The son of Fred and Ella (Lewis) Clemons, he was born April 9, 1954 in Indiana, PA. Robert excelled as a basketball player having received a scholarship to Beaver Valley College. He was employed by Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Penelec before moving to Oklahoma where he was employed by Oklahoma National Gas Company. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, and he especially enjoyed barbecuing with family while home vacationing. Surviving is his son, Brandon; brothers, Gerald Clemons and his wife, Birttie, Anderson Clemons, George Clemons, and his wife, Lugene, John Clemons and his wife, Lillian, all of Indiana; sisters, Eleanor (Clemons) Embry, Sonya (Clemons) Peters, all of Indiana; fiancée, Geri Young, Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren, Karlan and Cara; and numerous nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ella; three brothers, Fred, Jr., Carl, and Floyd; two sisters, Shirley, Juanita (Jones) Clemons; and a daughter, Autumn. Friends will be received on Saturday from 1 to 3p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Pastor Hanson, officiating.
