Robert “Bob” D. Bone 82 of Smithboro passed away Aug. 19, 2019 at his residence. He was born Oct. 18, 1936 in Greenville IL to Roy and Dorothy (Williford) Bone. He worked as a roofer in Bond County for Lanejoe and Potts roofing in Bond County. He is survived by his children Robert Bone, Rick Bone of Greenville, Connie Emmerson of Greenville, Yvonne Schragie of Greenville, Donna Welch of Pleasant Mound, Billy bone of Hookdale, Bobby Bone of Greenville, Lisa Hogue of Greenville, Nathan Taylor of Greenville, Joe Bone of Greenville, Brad Bone of Greenville and Angie Bone of Greenville, Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Elizabeth Bone in infancy, 5 brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be Monday August 26, 2019 at 11:00 Am at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro; visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will be in Smith Grove cemetery in rural Greenville. Memorials can be directed to the family
