Peggy’s Obituary Peggy Hires Bennett, 85, of Jesup, died Saturday, August 10, 2019. The Wayne County native was a homemaker and member of Church of Christ. Survivors are her sons, Art (Maxine) Bennett, John (Jean) Bennet, and Mark (Marlena) Bennett of Jesup; sisters, Janice Scarborough and Elise Williams of Jesup; several half-sisters and half-brothers; several grandchildren. Graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at George Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Greenlee officiating. Family will receive friends at the cemetery. Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup, Georgia is in charge of arrangements. Read More
