Peggy Gallihar Morrow, 80, of Johnson City, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Ivy Hall in Elizabethton. She was a native of Loudon County and daughter of the late Ralph and Ella Mae Brackett Gallihar. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husbands, Leslie B. Winters, Ralph L. Morrow, and her brothers, Jarvis Gallihar, and Ralph Gallihar, Jr., and her special friend, Clayton Woodby. Peggy was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Elizabethton and, also attended New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church with her daughter, and Milligan Free Will Baptist Church with her son. Peggy loved to travel with friends and family. She also loved to read, especially her bible. Those left to cherish Peggy’s memory include her daughter, Cinda L. Byrd (Darrell), her son, Barry L. Winters (JoAnn), grandchildren: Dawn L. Jennings (Nathan), Mandy N. Greer (Wes), Chris Richie, and Eric Winters; great-grandchildren: Ashlee N. Jennings, Abigal K. Jennings, Riley J. Greer, Jessica Winters, and Emily Winters; sister-in-law, Phillis Gallihar, niece, Kim Hawkins (Calvin) and their children, nephew, Jeff Gallihar (Vanessa) and their children, several friends and church family also survive. Peggy’s family would like to offer a special thank you to Judy Deloach and the entire staff at Ivy Hall Nursing facility for the loving care they provided. The family will greet friends to share memories on Monday, August 12, 2019 from 5:00 pm until a Celebration of Peggy’s life at 7:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services, Johnson City with Pastor Nathan Jennings, Pastor Nick Colbaugh, and Pastor Ray Colbaugh officiating. A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday at Washington County Memory Gardens with Pastor Mark Street officiating. Active pallbearers will be Jeff Gallihar, Calvin Hawkins, Wes Greer, Riley Greer, Eric Winters, Ronnie Heaton, and Lynn Peters. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery by 9:50 am.
