Patricia Jean Bate September 23, 1939 – July 31, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card On Wednesday, July 31st, 2019 Patricia Jean Guthrie Bate, loving wife and mother of 4 children passed away at the age of 79. Patricia was born on September 23, 1939 in Denver, Colorado. She grew up in Colorado and moved to Washington in her teens where she attended Stadium High School in Tacoma. She met and married Robert Owen Bate in 1956 when he was stationed at McChord AFB. They raised two sons, Lyle and Ross and two daughters, Sharain and Sarah. Patricia had an intense faith in her Father in Heaven and was active as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all her life, where she faithfully served in many callings. She was a talented seamstress and quilter and loved to make clothes and blankets for her family and friends. Patricia is survived by Robert, her loving husband of 63 years, and by her children Sharain, Lyle, Ross and Sarah, and by her brother Harold, her sister Venise and many grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup, WA. Print Obituary
