Patricia Pfingsten, 77, West Fargo, ND died on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Sheyenne Crossings in West Fargo. Patricia Alena O’Marro was born Feb. 3, 1942 in Fargo, ND to William and Alena (Schwartz) O’Marro. She grew up on the North side of Fargo and attended Fargo Central and Shanley High School. Pat married Lee Pfingsten on May 2, 1959 in Casselton, ND. They lived many years at Walcott, ND where she operated Pat’s Trophy’s and raised her six children. They moved to West Fargo in 2008. Pat had a passion for horses. She served as secretary of the RRV Horse Breeders Assoc. and a member of the Wolverton Saddle Club and FM Posse. She enjoyed sewing and collecting dolls. She also opened her home to foster care for over 30 years. She is survived by her husband, Lee; six children, Jeffrey (Peggy) of Fargo, Michele (Terry) Cox of Georgetown, MN, Daniel (Kristi) of Rothsay, MN, Todd (Kathleen) of West Fargo, Tamara (Scott) Ault of Reynolds, ND and John (Nicki) of Walcott; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a brother, Duane (Dorinda) O’Marro of Mapleton, ND. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister, Caroline. Visitation: Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019 from 5 to 7 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo. Funeral: Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 11 AM at West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo with visitation one hour prior. Burial: Casselton Cemetery. West Funeral Home & Life Tribute Center westfuneralhome.com
