72, of Wickford passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at her home. Born in Milwaukee, WI, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Janice (Lamb) Ellsworth. Nancy was the Vice-President of Torrington Savings Bank in CT, before moving to Rhode Island where she owned a jewelry shop. She also worked in Wickford Village and for the Salvation Army. Nancy enjoyed going to thrift stores and flea markets. She was a devoted New England Patriots fan. Nancy was a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Nancy’s kindness, encouragement and sincere love toward others will leave a long lasting impression on every life she touched. She is survived by her siblings, R. Michael Ellsworth of Southport, CT, Kathleen Mitchell of Vero Beach, FL, Kevin Ellsworth of Atlanta, GA and Mark Ellsworth of Warwick; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 10am in St. Francis de Sales Church, 381 School Street, North Kingstown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army, 6835 Post Road, North Kingstown, RI 02852.
