Nancy’s Obituary Nancy Ann Piller, age 77, of Grand View, passed away with her loving husband by her side, Thursday, August 29, 2019 at her home. She was born September 26, 1941 in Kenosha, WI, the daughter of Louis and Gladys (Bielowicz) Gergel. Nancy attended St. Mary’s and later graduated from St. Joe’s High School in Kenosha. She went to Cosmetology school in Milwaukee and returned home to Kenosha where she worked as a hairdresser for several years. Nancy met the love of her life, Ron Piller at a dance in Kenosha. The couple were united in marriage on November 19, 1960 in Kenosha. They raised their three girls in Kenosha while Nancy also worked as an Aide for the Kenosha Unified School District. Nancy and Ron moved to and built their dream home on Trappers Lake in 1989 in the town of Grand View. Nancy enjoyed reading, bowling, snowmobiling, camping and taking long motorcycle trips across the country with Ron. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and made special relationships with all of them. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Ron; three daughters, Debbie (Steve) Tomczak, Julie (Dale) Horton and Kimberly (John Stack Jr.) Piller; 4 grandchildren, Bryan (Katy) Tomczak, Laura (Nick) Blanchet, Tyler Horton and Matthew Piller; and 4 great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Penny, Parker and Hardy. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Nancy’s life will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at the Roberts Funeral Home in Ashland. Read More
