Skretteberg, age 71 of Elgin, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019 at Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND from a massive heart attack. Millie (Weishaar) Skretteberg was born on October 10, 1947 in Elgin, ND to Reinhold and Vera (Perry) Weishaar. She was raised on the family ranch south of Elgin. Millie graduated from Elgin High School in 1965. Millie was united in marriage to Rod Skretteberg on March 10, 1972. Together, they operated the Weishaar Family Ranch. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Rod, Elgin, ND; sister, Jeanette Brodehl, Elgin, ND; brothers-in-law, Gary (Audred) Skretteberg, Loron (Lavone) Skretteberg and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reiny and Vera Weishaar, infant brother Clinton, brothers-in-law, Dave Brodehl, Monte Skretteberg, mother and father-in-law, Morville and Evelyn Skretteberg. A private burial has taken place at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Elgin.
