Michael R. Bradovich Jr., 72, of Bellevue, died Sunday, August 18, 2019. He was born October 25, 1946 in Aliquippa, to the late Michael R. Bradovich, Sr. and Helen (Torhan) Bradovich. He worked in the tin mill department of the former Jones and Laughlin Steel Corporation, as a securities clerk for Mellon Bank, and was the co-owner of Sweet Pickles Treasures, Ambridge. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Raymond Cain. He is survived by his long time partner, Joseph S. Mikelas, five children, Michael R. (Cathy) Bradovich III of Pittsburgh, Nanette (Edward) Winterbauer of Ambridge, Darla Bradovich of West Aliquippa, Erin (Javier) Villagomez of West Aliquippa, and Mary Rossi of Center Township, 17 grandchildren, four sisters, Margaret “Peggy” (Barry) Kowalick of Hopewell Township, Kathy (David) Vandine of Freedom, Marlene (Stephen) O’Neil of Magnolia, NJ, Sandra (Jack) Stacy of Beaver, numerous nieces and nephews and pet dog, Freddy. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge where a funeral service will be held Friday at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Christ our Redeemer Cemetery, Ross Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Rd., Aliquippa, PA 15001.
