Michael Gene Lilly, 50, passed away on August 18, 2019 at his home. He was born on August 10, 1969 in Arlington, TX to the home of William Gene and Carolyn Ann Lilly. He worked in the construction business all his life as a foreman and superintendent. He loved all animals. He enjoyed attending rodeos all over Texas. His favorite places to visit were the stockyard in Ft. Worth, TX and the River Walk in San Antonio, TX. Michael was a “huge” fan of the Dallas Cowboys. His favorite quarterbacks were Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman. He was very musically talented, and played the drums in church as well as other bands. He was teaching himself to play the piano. At home he enjoyed cooking special meals for his family and was considered a “really good” cook. Michael is survived by his wife, Kimberly; step-daughter Isabelle; son Daniel Lilly; mother Carol Bryan; brother Donnie Lilly; sister Christi Mills; granddaughter Audriana; nephew Phillip; and niece Lillianna. He is preceded in death by his father. Michael will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
