Melissa “Misty” Dawn Koontz, 42, of Lewistown, passed away Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019. Born Nov. 26, 1976, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Donald R. and Darla Jean (Billet) Koontz. She is survived by; companion of 22 years, Stephen M. Hunter, of Lewistown; children, Mackenzie J. Hunter, Dayten Hunter, Ean Hunter, all of Lewistown. Misty was a Lewistown High School graduate. She worked as a home nurse and was employed by UCP in Lewistown. She was a great mother to her children, and she loved all animals. A receiving of friends will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2019, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with a memorial service at 11 a.m., at the funeral home.
