The daughter of Loyal Celes Cox and Loretta Fay (Weaver) Cox, she was born August 7, 1967 in Dallas, Texas. Melanie married Johnny Lee White in Yukon on July 25, 1987. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Washington. In her spare time, Melanie enjoyed playing video games, tending to the koi ponds in her yard, and raising ducks. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Loyal Cox. Melanie is survived by her husband, Johnny White, of Blanchard; two daughters, Andrea Ballard and her husband, Jason, of Blanchard and Casey White and her fiancé, Jesse Dages, of Blanchard; two sons, Johnny White, II and his wife, Chanda, of Blanchard and Shannon White and his wife, Amber, of Guthrie; five grandchildren; her mother, Loretta Cox, of Blanchard; two sisters, Daphne Babcock and her husband, Buck, of Oklahoma City and Lesa Blazer of Bridge Creek; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones and friends. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 10, 2019, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Dibble Cemetery.
