Mary Genevieve Hogan, 86, of Great Falls, MT, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019 of natural causes. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Croxford Funeral Home. Mary was born on June 7, 1933 in Northern Bay, Newfoundland, Canada to parents Ignatius and Margaret Hogan. Later in life she moved to Twin Falls, ID where she married Bert Veltkamp on April 18, 1988. Together their lives were blessed with three daughters, Diana, Cathy, and Denise. She will be remembered by her amazing musical talents, playing the harmonica, organ, accordion, and spoons. Mary always made sure her children were well fed with her amazing cooking. She had many more talents like her seamstress capabilities to her savvy business skills. She always showed her family lots of love and support all throughout her life and will be missed dearly. Mary is survived by her daughters, Diana Schafer, Cathy Knapstad, Denise Kriesch; 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and by one great-great-grandchild who is on the way. She was preceded in passing by her husband, Bert Veltkamp; her parents, and by her great-grandson, Kadien Kilgore.
