Wallace, SC Mary Elizabeth Hinson Sweatt, 86, died Tuesday, August 6, 2019. Born in Laurel Hill, NC, she was a daughter of the late Theodore “Doc” and Emma Cox Hinson. She was the widow of Louis Sweatt. Mrs. Sweatt was a member of Faith Fellowship Church, Wallace, SC. She was an avid reader, loved to cook and spend time with her family and friends. Surviving is her daughter, Karen (Tom) Martini Waller, sister, Betty Lee, grandchildren, Alessandro (Alyssa) Martini, Brent Sweatt, Stacey Sweatt, and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband listed above, sons, Stanley F. Sweatt, Bobby Louis Sweatt, sisters, Nell Collins, Geraldine Walters Lewis and Florence Leviner. A time for viewing will be from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC. A graveside service will be held 5:30 PM, Thursday, August 8, 2019 in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens, Cheraw, SC. Memorials to: Faith Fellowship Church 5015 Hatcher Hill Road, Wallace, SC 29596.
