Mr. Mark Andre McCollum Jackson November 21, 1961 – August 08, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation BURLINGTON- Mr. Mark Andre McCollum Jackson, 57, of 828 Cornwallis Drive, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019, at Alamance Regional Medical Center. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Jasper Laddie McCollum, deceased and Faye O’linda Jackson McCollum, who survives and the husband of Lisa Marie Crump Jackson, who also survives. Mark was also preceded in death by a brother, Theodore “Teddy” McCollum and a sister, Jacqueline McCollum. In addition to his wife of the home and his mother of Greensboro, Mark is survived by two sons, Lashaun Crump and Shannon Campbell (Jessica), both of Burlington; two sisters, Lesley McCollum Walker (Greg) and Portia L. Calhoun, both of Greensboro; five grandchildren, Da’Mari, Jaylen, Akaila, Aiden and Andrew; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mark’s homegoing celebration will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at 12:00 pm at Ebenezer United Church of Christ, 734 Apple Street, with Rev. Dr. Larry E. Covington officiating. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the funeral service at the church only. Public viewing will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019, from 1:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
