Mario’s Obituary Mario “Bubu” Montalvo Jr.,16, of Moscow Mills, MO and loving son of Mario Montalvo and Tiffany Montalvo nee Prather died on Sunday August 11, 2019 in Troy, MO. He was born on February 21, 2003 in Centreville, IL. Bubu was a fun loving, sweet, good natured boy. He always enjoyed spending time with his sisters and brothers: Adriana, Anessa, Rosalyne, and Dahlia, Alex and Leandro. He was very close to all of his family, especially his cousins who were like his brothers; Victor, Enrique, Eri and Fredo. He also loved to play with his little cousins who looked up to him. He was a typical teenage boy who liked spending time with his friends and playing video games. He loved to play sports and excelled in Soccer, Baseball, and Football. He also liked to cook and learn to make new recipes. He was the first one to help during a family gathering. As much as his family and many close friends are saddened, distraught, and heartbroken by the events of the night before we do not blame the driver or the other boys that were in the vehicle with him. Our hearts and prayers go out to the other families affected by this tragedy. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City, IL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Fairmont City, IL. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Belleville, IL.
