Mrs. Margaret Westmoreland Robinson, age 75, of Rockmart, GA passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Porterville, Alabama on April 22, 1944 a daughter of the late Lowell Westmoreland and the late Lucille Adams Westmoreland. Mrs. Robinson had lived the greater part of her life in Polk county where she was a member and Sunday School teacher of the Seney Baptist Church. She was a former teachers aide at Euharlee School and enjoyed spending time in her yard. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Gerald Robinson to whom she was married on July 19, 1960; four children: Teresa Ginapp (Bob), Rockmart, Anthony Robinson, Rockmart, Rita Sanders (Curtis), Rockmart and Craig Robinson, Rockmart; brother, Don Westmoreland (Faye), Cedartown; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and soon to be delivered great great granddaughter, Caroline Stiles. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 4:00 pm in the Seney Baptist Church with Rev. Donald Robinson and Rev. Tyler Barron officiating. Interment will follow in the Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will include: William Sisson, Jason Sisson, Burlan Arnold, Greg Stiles, Tracey Westmoreland and Jamie Westmoreland. Grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm at the funeral home.
