Lester’s Obituary Lester Brundige, 72, of the Mt. Pelia community passed away 8:37 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at his home. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Gordon Wilbanks will officiate. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Pallbearers will be Dale Willis, Steven Shanklin, Mickey Griffin, Dale Burton, David Gargus, Hogan Courtney and Frank Shanklin. Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday. Lester was born August 7, 1946, Campground Community in Weakley County, son of the late Lester and Annie (Hastings) Brundige. He married Brenda (Stephenson) Brundige June 28, 1980. She survives. Lester retired as maintenance foreman for the University of Tennessee at Martin after 35 years of service. He was a member of Mc Connell Baptist Church. He is also survived by one son, Donnie Brundige (Brenda) of Mt. Juliet; two daughters, Tammy Cook of Martin and Lisa Rhamy (James) of the Mt. Pelia community; five granddaughters, Miranda Brundige of Mt. Juliet, Ashley Brundige of South Fulton, Staci Robinson (Hunter) of Sharon and Deanna Couch (Anson) and Melissa Cook all of Martin; and seven great grandchildren, Liam Holt of South Fulton, Cameron Couch, Bently Couch and Eason Couch all of Martin, and Blaze Willcutt, Jaden Willcutt and Logan Willcutt all of Union City.
