On August 13th of 2019 Lawrence Edward Garrison Sr’s soul left this Earth and passed on into the Heavens at the age of 71. Larry was born in April 26th 1948 to Robert O. Garrison (Father) and Phyllis Garrison (Mother) who have preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his sister Sandra Garrison and brother Robert O. Garrison Jr and both maternal and paternal grandparents. His Surviving family are Wife Susan (Alstott), Son- Larry Jr. (Jim), Daughters – Melissa Padovano and Erin Pangrazio, and loving grandchildren- Josie Pangrazio and Tony Padovano Brothers – Dennis and Brian (Carol) Garrison, Sister – Cheryl Brazzale and several nieces and nephews. Larry was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the US Army 155 Assault Helicopter Company from 1965 -1968 and he belonged to VFW and American Legion Posts. Larry spent his life working at Alumax in Morris for 25 years then Crescent Electric for 18 years until eventually being able to enjoy retirement. Please join us in paying your respects and saying your goodbyes with friends and family at Tezak Funeral Home between the hours of 10AM-2PM located at 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435 on August 31, 2019 with a private burial at 11AM on September 3rd at Abraham Lincoln Cemetery.
