Lauren Marie Cutlip, 46, of Willimantic, CT unexpectedly passed away August 15, 2019 at her home. She was born in Willimantic and lived there most of her life, graduating from Windham High School in 1991. She leaves her parents, Susan F. Cutlip and Michael B. Cutlip, partner Andrew J. Carrier, son Jonathan M. Carrier, and daughter Amanda M. Carrier of Willimantic. Her brother Logan M. Cutlip lives in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Lauren spent summer and winter vacation times in a log home that the family constructed near Moosehead Lake and close to Greenville, ME. She was an exceptional swimmer from a young age, and she engaged in both snow and water skiing as well as camping in Maine. She loved arts and crafts and particularly liked to crochet colorful blankets and bedspreads of her own design. She lived with her family in Cambridge, England for two years and Adelaide, Australia for six months while her father was on sabbaticals from the University of Connecticut. She loved music and had many good friends over her life. Visiting hours will be at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic, CT on Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 3:00-4:00 PM, and a Memorial Service will start there at 4:00 PM.
