Laura’s Obituary Laura J. Proctor, 77, died Wednesday August 28, 2019 in Gulfport. She was born to the late Johnny and Rosie Hinton Jackson in Beaumont, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Johnny Leon Jackson, and Freddie Douglas Jackson; one sister, Yvonne Jackson McCord. She leaves to cherish her loving memories one son, Thomas Earl Jackson of Gulfport; one daughter, Rosie N. Jackson of Gulfport; five brothers, Steve (Jeanine) Jackson, Gulfport, Melvin Jackson, New York, Curtis (Mary) Jackson, Los Angeles, CA, James (Sandra) Jackson, and Ricky (Diane) Jackson both of Atlanta, GA ; five sisters, Rosie Lee Watson, Gulfport, Louise McSwain of Beaumont, MS, Willie Sue Jackson of E. St. Louis, Myrtle Jackson, and Annette Jackson both of Atlanta, GA; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Ben McCord and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
