Larry Edward Stewart, 66, of 1151 Mountain Hill Road, Ringgold, VA, passed away at his residence suddenly on Sunday, August 18, 2019. Larry had been in declining health for the past several years. Larry was born in Transylvania County, NC on January 15, 1953 a son to the late Edward Eugene Stewart and Irene Barker Stewart. He had lived in Bevard, NC prior to moving to the Mountain Hill Community in 1992. Larry had worked while living in Bevard, NC for Goodwill Motors, Inc. in the Parts Department. He was a member of the Saint Trinity United Methodist Church, in Bevard, NC. Larry is survived by one aunt, Margaret Martin Walters, of Ringgold, VA, one uncle, Walter Barker of Richmond, VA and several cousins. A Funeral Service for Larry will be conducted on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Graveside in Highland Burial Park by the Reverend Darrell Campbell. The family request that in Lieu of Flowers that Memorial Donations be made to the Ringgold Fire & Rescue, P.O. Box 10, Ringgold, VA 24586.
