Kevin William Bertelson, 15, of Covington, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019. He was born in Conyers, GA to Eric and Christine Bertelson. Kevin attended Alcovy High School. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, riding four wheelers. He enjoyed wrestling and his involvement in FFA while at Veterans Middle School. Kevin loved visiting Hiawassee, especially at the lake. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends. Kevin is survived by his parents, Eric and Christine Bertelson of Covington; sisters, Lisa Bertelson, Kelly Bertelson and Mindy Bertelson, all of Covington; grandparents, Nancy and Leonard Bertelson of Hiawassee, GA, Richard and Sharon Ulyat of San Antionio, FL. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, August 26, 2019 at 6:30pm at the FFA Camp, 720 FFA FHA Camp Road, Covington. GA 30014. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the FFA Camp in Kevin’s honor to Georgia FFA-FCCLA Center, 720 FFA FHA Camp Road, Covington, GA 30014.
