Kenneth Brooks Blevins, 73, of Ashland, passed away Tuesday March 19, 2019 at Kings Daughters Medical Center. He was born June 6, 1945 in Ashland the son of the late William F. and Sola Mae Daniels Blevins. He was the owner of Blevins Roofing and Construction Co., an avid fisherman, loved working on old cars and loved his family. He was also a Vietnam Army Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Larry Joe Pickles. He is survived by his wife, Linda Kay O’Neal Blevins of Ashland; one daughter, Leigh Ann Hamilton (Brad) of Ashland; one son, Kenneth Mark Blevins of Ashland and three grandchildren, Cody Brooks Blevins, Harlea Marie Blevins and Taylor Rae Hamilton. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday March 22, 2019 at Miller Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens with military graveside rites by Kenova American Legion Post #93. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until service time Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Community Hospice at 1480 Carter Ave. Ashland, KY 41101.
