Joseph Ronald Weeks, Sr., 77, of Ludlow, passed away Monday, August 19, 2019. Ron was born the son of Joseph and Helen Bosaw Weeks on December 2, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a member of Iron Worker’s Local #44 of Boone County and he retired from the Edgewood Public Works Department after more than 20 years of service. He was also a former Dance Instructor for Arthur Murray Dance Studios. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Sue Ann “Dottie” (Schlarman) Weeks in 2017; and his parents. Survivors include daughters, Ronnie (Dan) McMillen of Rabbit Hash, Gennie Becker of Goshen, Ohio and Kathy (Phil) Douglas of Wisconsin; son, Joseph R. Weeks, Jr. of Goshen, Ohio; six grandchildren, Marie (Chris) Hood, Beth (Ryan) Grinnan, Cody McMillen, Samantha (Megan) Stitner, Amanda Becker and Erin Becker; and a great granddaughter, Evie Grinnan. There is no visitation. Graveside Services will be conducted at 10:00 am Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright with Reverend Marty Westermeyer officiating. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Ludlow is serving the family.
