John “Jack”‘s Obituary John L. Conlon, also known as “Jack”, age 75 of Woodson Terrace, Missouri went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 17, 2019. He was born on Friday, June 23, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late William and Lucille Conlon (nee Karst). John is survived by his wife of 20 years, Donna Mae Conlon (nee Wilfong); four children, John Nero, Tricia Drury (husband, Max), Thomas Conlon, and Dawn Clemens (fiancé, Jeff Hood); eight grandchildren, Alessandra Nero, Annabella Nero, Zachary Nero, Camila Drury, Max Drury Jr., Brendan Anderson, Tiffany McMahon, and Tasha Turner (husband, Richard); two great-grandchildren, Makayla Turner and Makenzie Turner; ten siblings, William L. Conlon, Jr. (wife, Glenda), Elise Ryan (husband, Robert), Rosemary Mueller, Carol Stergos, Celeste Dwyer (husband, Donald), Mike Conlon (wife, Jill), Fran Overboe (husband, Brian), Mary Vallee Carver (husband, Don), Marie Estelle “Judy” Cooper (husband, Gary), and Matthew Conlon (wife, Laurie); many nieces, nephews, cousins, their families and many friends. John was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Harriet Conlon. John formerly owned and operated Jacks Auto Body for many years and was very well known in the Woodson Terrace Community. He was the Administrative Assistant of The City of Woodson Terrace, and former Alderman in Woodson Terrace of Ward 1 (the seat currently held by his wife, Donna). He honorably served in the Air Force and was a member of the Oliver Guy Vassar American Legion Post 143, Woodson Terrace VFW Post 2365, the former Lambert Airport Rotary Club, The Gideons International, the Municipal League of Metro St. Louis, Fee Fee Baptist Church and the former Edmundson Road Baptist Church. He had an extensive collection of Hot Wheels Cars, Coins and Baseball Cards. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered all that loved and knew him. Services: Visitation at SHEPARD FUNERAL CHAPEL, 9255 Natural Bridge Road at I-170, St. Louis, Missouri (314-426-6000) on Wednesday, August 21 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. with the Tenth District Guard of Honor Service at 7:00 p.m. Second visitation at Fee Fee Baptist Church, 11330 St. Charles Rock Road, Bridgeton, Missouri on Thursday, August 22 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial with military honors follows at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, Missouri.
