Jeannie K. “Gordie” Weaver, 71, of Milton, died on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born December 2, 1947 in Lewisburg, the daughter of the late Carrie May (Coup) and John Wilson Moser. On June 15, 1963 she married Ronald Eugene Weaver Sr. who preceded her in death on May 18, 2013. Jeannie attended Warrior Run Schools and worked at the former Zenith Corporation, Watsontown and the former H. Warshow & Sons Inc., Milton. She later retired from Sunbury Community Hospital. In her spare time, Jeannie enjoyed watching television and crocheting. Surviving are two children, Ronald E. Weaver Jr. and his wife, Kathleena, of Mifflinburg, and Pamela J. Salsman, of Milton; one daughter-in-law, Kathy Weaver, of Milton; two special friends, Megan and Chloe Phillips, both of Milton; six grandchildren, Ronald E. Weaver III, Casey Weaver, Abigail Weaver, Stevie Weaver, Samantha Salsman and Austin Salsman; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one son, Scott A. Weaver. A celebration of Jeannie’s life will be held privately at the convenience of the family. The family suggests contributions in Jeannie’s memory be made to the American Diabetes Association, online at www.diabetes.org. The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main St. Watsontown.
