Hugh B. Watkins, 89, formerly of Morristown, went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Dominion Senior Living in Bristol. He was Vice President of Lea-Wayne Knitting Mills and worked there for over 40 years. He was also a longtime member of Noe’s Chapel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Margaret Maples Watkins; parents, Will and Jenny Watkins of Rutledge, TN; brother, Harold Watkins. He is survived by his two sons Richard (Janice) Watkins of Palm Coast, FL; Stephen (Phyllis) Watkins of Blountville, TN; granddaughter, Courtney (Britt) Stone of Bluff City, TN; two great grandsons, Eli and Judah Stone of Bluff City, TN, as well as several nieces and nephews. Graveside services are planned for 11:00 am Tuesday, August 27, 2019 in Noe’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Jack Hartman presiding.
