Harry R. Murray, age 86 of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away on August 28, 2019 at home with Hospice. He was born on December 28, 1932 in Gould City, Michigan (in the Upper Peninsula) to Harry E. and Margaret (LaLonde) Murray. Beloved Husband of Marjorie Murray for 66 years. They were married on June 13, 1953. Dear Father of Pamela Murray of Warren, Michigan and Paul (Michelle) Murray of St. Johns, Michigan. Grandfather of Alexander Murray and Abigail Murray. Brother of the late Beverly Ticconi. Also loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Harry was a graduate of Pershing High School in Detroit, Class of 1951. Proudly served his country in the US Air Force for four years in Korea. He was a loyal employee at Sears for 60 years. Harry loved to read and knew everything about WWII. He loved to draw and doodle. We would find his artwork on every piece of scrap paper. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 31st at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 28353 Herbert, Madison Heights, Michigan beginning with Instate at 10:30 am followed by the 11:00 am Mass.
