Gloria (Marochak) Vereb, age 64, of Belle Vernon, formerly of Elizabeth, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Greenery Center for Rehab and Nursing. She was a sales representative for Hanover Foods and a member of St. Sebastian Parish in Belle Vernon. Born October 4, 1954 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late George “Duko” and Velma (Uveges) Marochak. She is survived by her sister, Marie (Jeff) Humenik of West Newton; brothers, Dennis (Jeannie) Marochak of Clarksville, GA and Luke Marochak of O’Fallon, MO; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Thomas Marochak. No visitation is planned. A Memorial Mass will take place on Monday, August 19, 2019, at 10 AM in St. Michael Parish, Elizabeth Twp., with the Rev. Thomas Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in St. Clare Cemetery, Clairton. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, SW Region, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
