Gloria’s Obituary Gloria Mae Zenk, age 90, of Cecil, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019. She was born on March 9, 1929, in Green Valley, to the late Oliver and Louise (Pipgrass) Framnes. On September 25, 1948, Gloria was united in marriage to Russell A. Zenk, Jr. at Bethel Lutheran Church in the town of Green Valley. Gloria and Russell owned and operated a dairy farm in the town of Green Valley for many years. Russell preceeded Gloria in death on August 19, 2004 after 56 years of marriage. She loved her family, animals, being outdoors, and her little dog Gizzy. Gloria is survived by: her children, Steven (Peggy) Zenk of Cecil, Stanley Zenk of Gillett, and Sherrie (Tim) Reed of Suring; her grandchildren, Cari, Craig, Traci (Justin), Curt (fiancée, Inga), Mikaela (fiancée, Josh), Josh (friend, Greta), and Macie; one great-grandson, Tucker; and one sister, Opal Cartier of Green Bay; she is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Russell; her parents, Oliver and Louise; her sisters, Beverly and Dolores; her brothers, Elwood and Vernon; and one daughter-in-law, Debbie. A time of gathering will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Friday, August 30, 2019, at the Swedberg-Zastrow Funeral Home in Cecil. Private Family Services will be held at a later time.
