She was born on January 24, 1945 in Clayton, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late James Dover and Rosalee Gunn McCloud. Ms. McCloud is survived by her sons, Steve Townsend (Shannon), Ricky Townsend and Jammey Townsend (Jennifer); sisters, Alice Baker and Evelyn “Sister” Shelton; brothers, Jack McCloud and Don McCloud (twin brother); eight grandchildren, Jaclyn, Joshua, Joslyn, Mackenzie, Jordan, Glinda, Tabatha, and Jamie and seven great-grandchildren. Ms. McCloud is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Herbert Russium, Lamar McCloud, J.D. McCloud and Max McCloud. In keeping with Ms. McCloud’s wishes, she was cremated. A private memorial service for Ms. Glenda Dianne McCloud will be held at a later time. Honorary pallbearers are Mackenzie McIntosh, Joshua Townsend and Timmy Vincent.
