Obituary Gladys L. Byrd, 85 of Garner, formerly of Four Oaks, NC, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019 at her home in Garner. Private family services will be held at a later date. Gladys Lee Byrd, the daughter of Joseph and Eva (George) Lee, was born September 30, 1933 in Durham, North Carolina. She was married to Roy Byrd in North Carolina. They lived in Four Oaks, NC where she was employed at a pharmacy for 28 years. In 2014, she moved to Garner to be closer to her family. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Browning of Garner.
