Obituary for Gene R. Faulkner Gene R. Faulkner, 83, of Holiday Heights, Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away Monday, August 26, 2019 at Community Medical Center, Toms River surrounded by his loving family. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he lived in Roselle Park, NJ before moving to Berkeley Twp. 13 years ago. Gene was an Oil Blender at Total Specialties USA (previous known at Elf Lubricants NA) in Linden, NJ for over 30 years. He served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1959. Gene was predeceased by his parents, John Leslie and Hazel (nee Andrews) Faulkner, six brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Pauline (nee Stefanik), two daughters and sons in law Donna and Patrick Szotak, Sr. of Union, NJ, Denise and Jeffrey Albrecht of South Plainfield, NJ, three grandchildren Patrick Szotak, Jr., Kimberly Albrecht and Emily Albrecht, two sisters Dorothy Williamson of Whiting, NJ, Erma Ward of Cranford, NJ, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday 4:00pm – 8:00pm with a funeral service at 6:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Autism Family Services of New Jersey, 50 Millstone Rd., Building 300, Suite 201, East Windsor, NJ 08520 or JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes), 26 Broadway, 14th floor, New York, NY 10004.
