Gail’s Obituary Gail Ann Newell, 67, of Wichita Falls passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019. Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at American Legion Post 202, 1101 East Scott Wichita Falls, Texas 76301. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. Gail was born February 18, 1952 to the late Fred and Mildred (Azure) Allery in Belcourt, North Dakota. She traveled to many different places before settling in Wichita Falls in 1994. Gail worked for over 20 years with the Wichita Falls Health Department. She met Clarence Newell, while out with some friends, and the couple married in January 2006. They spent several years together before his passing in 2017. Gail enjoyed working crossword puzzles, arts and crafts, an occasional trip to the casino and spending time with her sister, Mary. She enjoyed donating her time to the American Legion Post 202, and helping in any way to benefit the members. Gail will be missed by family and friends. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; two sisters, Rhonda Baker and Emily Allery; and brother, Glenn Allery. Gail is survived by her children, Robert Plant, Kathy Frazier, Roxanne Frazier and Norbet Lenior; eight sisters, Mary LaVallie, Lori Amyotte, Dorine Allery, Debbie Sharette, Carolee Mickelson, Wendy LaVallie and husband, Ronnie, Kathy Sharette, and Marlys Persian; one brother, Gary Allery; and many grandchildren and other family members.
