Dorothy’s Obituary Dorothy Conley Dorothy Lee Conley, age 84, of Texarkana, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 28, 2019. Mrs. Conley was born April 26, 1935 in Texarkana, Arkansas and was a lifetime resident of Texarkana. She was a homemaker and always made her home a place of love and security for her family and friends. Dorothy was also a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Conley and one daughter, Doretta Jobe. She is survived by four daughters and two sons-in-law, Charlene Williams of Texarkana, Arkansas, Shelia and Joe Gillenwater of Texarkana, Arkansas, Janae and Kolby Smith of Texarkana, Texas, and Mandy Jobe of Hope, Arkansas; one sister, Lola McMellon of Redwater, Texas; five grandchildren, Chris Williams and his wife Tiffany, Jeremy Chapman and his wife Angela, Nicholas Chapman and his partner Will, Justin Chapman and his wife Keely and Brittany Chapman, twelve great-grandchildren two great-great grandchild and a host of friends and other relatives. A celebration of Mrs. Conley’s life will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas with Rev. Wallace Edgar and Bro. Steven McMellon officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.
